For everyone’s needs. Because somehow there isn’t already one (that I know of) and that’s ridiculous.
Simply ridiculous.
This list is mainly focused on lower blood vocab as well, since in cases where high blood and low blood vocab differs, high blood vocab tends to be just straight English(ablution trap vs. bathtub).
If you see a word that you know that is missing, add it and a definition, if a solid definition is known. If it’s a more vague term that does not have a known canon meaning (for example: nook), then simply leave it as a term, and maybe give a context (Nook: Body part, perhaps sexual).
Also, please. Only canon vocab. Don’t add your own personal terms. Make sure what you add was actually in the comic, please.
Also, if you have a link to where it is used handy, by all means! Link to it so people can see it used in context.
So there you go! Circulate it, and when a good list gets going, I can post it to my livejournal so that there is a solid link that people can go to.
Because I know that I as a writer would love a list, and I imagine that others would too.
And go! Add what you don’t see on here! Add a category if you feel it’s needed! I just put up a few, but feel free to edit/etc.

I spent an inordinate amount of my time piecing together panels to create the completed layout of the Strider’s apartment. This was a pain in the ass, since the way the panels were cropped sometimes meant that there were gaps in between wires, or parts of objects were missing (I had to build off of some of the posters to complete them, and the worst one to fix was the pile of Bro’s crap in the kitchen — the blue and grey hats and half of the thing was cut off!) and in order to complete certain areas, I had to overlap multiple panels. I enjoyed it, though — actually, if anyone else has another location that they want to get a complete layout for, I’d be happy to give it a stab!
Although I know this is probably only helpful for me, since I made it as my own personal resource for writing — the next chapter of Houston, We Have a Problem is largely set in this room, so I wanted to be able to see everything clearly and get a sense for where everything is. Anyway, this is the main room of the apartment. Through the transparent door is a short hallway that has two other rooms: Dave’s bedroom, the only bedroom in the apartment, as Bro sleeps on the futon, and the bathroom.
Also, you’ll have to ignore the multiple Daves. xD It was inevitable, given the way I had to piece it together. Explain it away as time shenanigans.
I got a few requests to do the layout for the Egbert house after doing the Strider apartment (and oh my god, you guys, I’m still like. Reeling in shock at the number of notes on there. Why are you all so amazing. ;___; ) so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Unfortunately, the fact that there are multiple levels and rooms and everything is so complicated to lay out, so I really hope it’s not too confusing and bluh. D: I wanted to fit everything in there, and this was the only way I could figure out how to put it.
Also, Mr. Egbert. I love you so much, but your room is a right pain in the ass. Gotta give me something to work with here, man! John’s reaction flash is not cutting it.

This is an excellent idea! I’d like to add a few more:
Troll anatomy:
- Cartilage nub: nose? (No idea. Thoughts?)
- Lobe stem: brain stem
- Phlegm lobe: no clue, but Karkat does mention his throbbing phlegm lobe once
- Seedflap: a sex organ of some sort
- Collapsing and expanding bladder based aquatic vascular system: heart (probably sea dweller-specific)
Troll homes:
- Communal hive stem: apartment building
- Lawnring: yard
- Thermal hull: refrigerator
- Husktop: laptop
- Nutrition plateau: plate
- Whirling device: fan
- One wheel device: unicycle
- Three wheel device: tricycle
- Four wheel device: wheelchair
Troll society:
- Wiggler: young troll kids (presumably when they possess limbs, as opposed to a grub) (Note: a troll’s birthday is called a wriggling day, but they are called wigglers, not wrigglers!)
- Carpenter droids: robots that facilitate a hive’s building process
- Threshecutioners: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades and, indeed, one of the most lethal members in society. Weapon: sickles.
- Laughsassins: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades.
- Cavalreapers: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades. Weapon: lances. The Summoner rose up through the ranks of the Cavalreapers, assuming command of the army, which would lead a rebellion. Tavros one day hopes to be recruited as a Cavalreaper and practices his jousting just in case.
- Ruffiannihilators: one of the Empress’s lethal brigades. A STRONG and honorable class.
- Archeradicators: one of the most noble echelon the imperial forces have to offer, according to Equius. Weapon: bows and arrows.
- Subjugglators: exceptionally brutal enforcers of the hemospectrum in troll society to whom the Empress delegated oppression. One of the highest castes, as even bluebloods are beneath them. Gamzee is a descendant of one of the high subjugglators, the Grand Highblood.
- Legislacerators: prosecuting attornies who conduct investigations and seek to bring evil-doers to justice, which is brought about by executing them by hanging. Redglare was a legislacerator who was hung by her own noose, intended for Mindfang.
- Gamblignants: deadly marauders of ancient times with a passion for chance. They all died off because they took too many risks, however.
Other:
- FLARP: Fatal Live-Action Roleplaying, or extreme roleplaying

Rose’s house was very… interesting to put together, since you don’t get to see it all as completely as you do in the Strider and Egbert households. I was really frustrated because I ended up with three floating rooms and had no idea of their location, but then I looked at the exterior of the household and really worked to figure out where everything was based on landmarks such as the front door, which we know is in the living room, and the exterior pathway and observatory, as well as on notes I took, such as when Rose mentions that her mother’s room is in this direction. Using those, I was able to cobble together a general picture of where everything belongs. I have two layouts to share: the exterior, where I put other information that may or may not be useful to people, and the interior, which contains all of the rooms shown.
Rose’s house was a thousand times harder to do than John’s and Dave’s. That living room. Those stairs. I actually had a dream last night about those and I ended up waking myself up because I was frustrated. xD But I’d gotten a few requests to do the Lalonde house and was determined to finish it, partly because I could use the resource myself, so I really hope it’s satisfactory! I can’t even tell anymore, I’ve been looking at this too long. Oh man.
Oh, thank you, I’m glad you liked it! And sure thing, except apparently Imgur resizes things that are over 3000 px and, uh, the originals for at least the Egbert and Lalonde houses are bigger that. D: And I’m really dissatisfied with the quality of the pictures after they’re uploaded to Imgur, it really degrades the quality. Nevertheless, you asked for the largest ones, and so you shall receive!
I zipped up all the pngs in their original sizes and slapped that up here for you. If you just download and open that up, you’ll get the full sized pictures. Fair warning, though, they look shittier when you’re up that close. xD
(Also, just because I’m curious — what’re you planning on using these for? :B)
My friends finally bought this amazing book that we always read when we go to the bookstore: Sextrology: The Astrology of Sex and the Sexes by Starsky and Cox (yes, seriously. Cox). And it’s so much fun to look at even just the turn-ons listed. They’re scarily accurate for my two friends, but I’m a Scorpio female and none of them matched up with me. Then I realized something. I was born on Halloween, but I was supposed to be born on February 20th. So if I was born on my due date, i would have been a Pisces. Then i read the Pisces turn-ons for females. And. Yes. Yes to practically all of these. I clearly have the spirit of a Pisces. I am Feferi. It is me.
Anyway, since we spent at least an hour looking up South Park characters’ signs and choosing appropriate signs for those characters that don’t have listed birthdays and analyzing their relationships between ships… I wanted to do the same for the Homestucks. Obviously, they’re not always accurate since all people are different and like in my case or my other friend’s case, they may not match up it all. But still, it’s fun! So beyond the cut are all of the characters…
Ectobabies! Just a little compilation of all of the baby guardians and their kids just before being sent back to Earth on their respective meteors. From left to right:
I was rewatching [S] Descend when these images flashed across the screen and they’re there for all of like half a second, but I really wanted them, dammit, so I spent like an hour replaying the flash a million times and hovering my finger over the print screen button. xD S’worth it, because these shots make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Babbiessss. <3
Bro Strider will always be the most badass guardian ever. I spent my night not doing work or reading IEPs or writing or doing anything even remotely productive and instead rewatching all of the Homestuck flashes and drooling over them. And Bro’s awesomeness. I had fun collecting screenshots for my collection of favorite panels and I thought I’d share these ones since most belong to flashes and not static images. There’s probably already another Bro appreciation post out there somewhere, but I can’t find one and it’s 2 in the morning and I’m loopy and idgaf. :D
My logic is that there is never enough Bro. Never.
And on that note, I’m going to bed. Goodnight, Tumblr. <3
Edit: Also, I had so much fun with this one that I decided to make them for Dad and Mom too!
