I made a banner for Team Jade♥Feferi for the Homestuck Shipping Olympics Bonus Round 0! I’ve been wanting to do a Horrorcuties panel edit for a while now, and this was the perfect excuse. Jade and Feferi are just the cutest freaking characters ever, and I just love them so much. <3

Continuing the trend of “I must make panel edits for all of my favorite pairings,” I bring you a BroDad panel edit in the same spirit as my Rosemary and Davros ones. Because BroDad is simply excellent.
I was going to make this my promo piece for the HSO, but wow I am really fucking tired, so I’ll make another post tomorrow when I’m not so exhausted, extolling the virtues of this glorious ship and our teams. Maybe do one of those fancy powerpoint photosets and everything.
For now, I’m just going to be sleepy and lazy and watch AskBetaBro’s livestream, which you all should join because it’s gr8.

All Striders love the plush rump. This is an irrefutable fact. But while Tavros is too busy being excited over truly unhealthy incendiaries, Aradia is entirely aware of the fact that Dave is totally checking out that ass.
I miss my dreambubble babies. I like to believe that they’re still partying it up in the dreambubbles, and that if Tavros got yanked out because of Gamzee combining his dead body with Vriska’s to make Tavrisprite, that his doomed Dave’s looking for him. I think that all that time they spent together did Tavros some good, because I interpret a lot of what he had to say to Vriska as basically sassing her up. Dave and Tavros are good for each other, and their personalities and interests just go together so well!
Since I already did a panel edit hinting at Rosemary, I had to do one for one of my other OTPs. They’re just too much fun!

Sylph of Space Kanaya! Ever since seeing the sylph class design, I’ve been wanting to see God Tier Kanaya so badly. No wings because hey, they can conceal them, and designing wings is a bitch and a half. And because Kanaya is one classy, fashionable lady, she gets to wear gloves too. /secretly loves Kanaya in gloves because her red dress with those gloves are just gorgeous okay.
My little background for this: Alternate timeline offshoot Kanaya reached god tier (and yes, I know that she would be dead if this was the case, but I liked the way she looked normally too, so just roll with me here, aight) and met Rose for the first time when drifting in the dreambubbles, coming across her in the Land of Light and Rain. And they just stood there, looking at each other for a few moments in silence, realizing that they had finally found each other.
It was beautiful.
And in closing, a soft whisper in the immortal words of my bro… now kiss.

Since I already did a Grimdark!Rose, I figured I needed to do a regular Rose photoset too. Rose is pretty much my favorite female character of all time. Because she’s snarky and badass and elegant, but she has her own private moments of silliness every now and then. And in spite of her highfalutin vocabulary and maturity, she’s still just a teenager — she secretly writes wizard fanfiction, makes winky faces for her own personal amusement, and has a messy room. She has a thing for the macabre, knitting, psychoanalysis, and passive-aggressive one-upmanship.
So basically, she is perfect.
That’s really all there is to say on the matter.

John Egbert is just a great character. He’s derpy, very happy-go-lucky, has a thing for terrible movies, and he can also be a complete and utter ass at times. But he’s loyal to his friends first and foremost, even when he’s pranking or insulting them, and that’s what makes him such a good guy. John: Rise up will always be one of the best flashes — it’s so gripping! And who would have ever thought that that is what would eventually come out of this? It’s so stunning to see how John’s developed — and how Homestuck itself has developed since that very first page.

Jade Harley is awesome, you guys. She’s all excitable and adorable and upbeat and a little kooky since she lives alone on an island with her dog, but that just adds to her charm. But I love it when she gets cranky and snippy too after being woken up after experiencing the Horrorterrors for the first time. It just goes to show that she’s human too, and no one is perfect.
I have a second photoset for her, but I figured I’d wait until after I posted John’s and the Prospit Siblings appreciation posts to post her second set. Same with Dave’s second set!

I love the Derse siblings so much. Seriously. Both of them. I just have so many for feels for them. If I had to pick just one, it would be Dave, but Rose is right up there with him. And I love all of the scenes with their dreamselves together, so I figured I might as well make an appreciation post for the two of them! Here’s to the Derse dreamers, ladies and gents.

Dave Strider is my favorite kid, and that’s a hard choice to make, because I seriously love all the kids. And Rose is a very close second. Because there are so many good pictures of all of the four main kids, I’m probably going to do two photosets for each kid. Because I want to okay.

Rose gone grimdark. Literally one of the best parts ever. She is so frightening in this state, unable to even speak proper English. But she is so mysterious and gorgeous and spooky and perfect.
(And I’d like to take the opportunity to say that I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t love the visual of grimdark!Rose and rainbowdrinker!Kanaya together. I love the contrast between the two of them. It’s so striking.)
Guys there are so many pictures to work with for the kids! I think I might end up having a few photosets for each kid. xD So I wanted to go with a little bit of a theme for each one, and this one is devoted just to grimdark!Rose. Because her descent into grimdarkness is fantastic.
